 A premonition?
« Thread Started on Jul 23, 2008, 11:30pm »

Hello all,

Just a couple of hours ago I had gotten back from visiting my mom and my husband was sitting on the couch with a weird look on his face. I asked him what was wrong and he said he didn't know but he just felt so strange and he said he couldn't explain it but he was just in a very weird mood. He said he just kept feeling like something was just not right. We have just gotten back from a vacation at the beach a couple of days ago and I really just felt like he was probably still really tired out from that so I didn't give it much thought. Well about an hour later the phone rang and it was his mom saying that his uncle had just passed away. He was in Malaysia on business and his co-worker found him lying in the hotel room doorway. They said it looked like he had just dropped dead! Do you all think that my husbands weird mood could have been a premonition of some kind? Have any of you ever had something like this happen to you? Thanks, Amy

Hi Amy,

What your husband experienced could have been a lot of things, but who is to say it wasn't a premonition. Has he ever had any before? Was he close to his uncle? I do believe sometimes the recently departed return to say good-bye to those they are the closest to. It may not have been a premonition at all, but maybe he was feeling the presence of his uncle's spirit, standing there telling him good-bye. It is certainly possible he was experiencng one or the other.

Ron

He did have a premonition of sorts last year when his sister died. He could not sleep the night before and for some strange reason he said he just felt this incredible urge to get in his car and drive. He said at first he did not know where he wanted to go, but as he continued to drive he got this incredible urge to get onto the interstate and start driving to the town where his brother lives. He said he just started thinking 'I've got to talk to Larry, I've got to talk to Larry!' It's odd he wasn't really thinking of his sister but instead he was thinking of his brother. That part I can't figure out. Anyway he drove for quite a while and he decided that he would turn around and come back home. Mainly because he said he would not know what to tell his brother what he wanted when he would be waking him up at 4 in the morning if he got there. Well about 10 hours later we got the call that his sister had had a heart attack in her sleep. Another odd thing is is that he had not seen his sister in several years until his brother had organized a family reunion(which is pretty unusual for this family) only a week before this.
When he was 11 his brother was killed in car wreck. A few hours before this he said he got a huge urge to see his brother (his brother was 18) He rode his bicycle to the store about a mile down the rode and sure enough his brother was there. He said he felt like he needed to beg his brother to come home and not go out with his friends. He said he pestered and pestered him to come home untill finally his brother got angry with him and told him to get lost. He said he started crying and told him he would leave if he would give him a hug. His brother said no way but he offered to shake his hand. He said he was mad at him for not hugging him so he refused to shake his hand so his brother got mad again and drove away. That was the last time he saw him alive.
What do you guys think? Do you think maybe he could have some type of four sight?
