Digital Cameras « Thread Started on Jan 23, 2009, 8:08pm »
I do not like to use digital cameras, as the paranormal photos are too hard to confirm. Digital cameras record light pixels in a mathematical format, but it is possible to get fantastic paranormal evidence with a digital camera. When a digital camera cannot mathematically compute light pixels, it will result in white orb/s showing in the photograph that is not paranormal evidence. The best place for a digital camera in an investigation, is when scouting an alleged haunted locale. You can quickly get results from the digital camera, locating paranormal sectors, then switch to a film loaded camera. Another problem with digital cameras is NO negitive, this is a serious issue when looking at paranormal investigation in a scientific way.
Tip:You do not want a UV filter on your lens while taking paranormal photos. You need a 35 mm camera, high ISO film or/ high shutter speed with flash. (at night) We at IOPIA find it hard to get quality paranormal photos using black and white film.

I have been curious about this too. I went on a paranormal investgation in October of 2008 with the cast of Paranormal State and used my digital camera to take pictures. I thought I had a couple of good mist pictures but I'm not too sure. I always thought it was better to use a 35 mm camera too so I am curious to see what people have to say about this too !!
