Hi Shawna,
I suggest you discuss your ideas and beliefs with him. It wouldn't be too good if he was a non-believer and came face to face with something that shocked him. And, if he found out you knew and didn't warn him, it might not be very good.
You know, the subject of spirits is something everyone wonders about at one time or the other. Non-believers are no different.
